Union Berlin striker Taiwo Awoniyi is a step away from signing for Premier League new boys Nottingham Forest.
The Nigeria international is moving to Forest for his €20m buyout clause.
BZ Berlin reports he said goodbye and left the Union Berlin training ground with a suitcase at 10.05am on Wednesday.
He is set for a medical at Forest today.
Awoniyi signed for Liverpool in 2015 before eventually being sold to Union Berlin last year.
Liverpool will receive €2m due to a 10 per cent sell-on clause negotiated by former sporting director Michael Edwards.
