IPOH - A stall which has been selling ‘lamb shank percik’ at Perak Stadium Ramadan Bazaar here has been attracting hordes of daily customers.
Firdaus Aziz, who runs the business with his friend Saifful Zharfan Mohd Hamidi, both 33, said 200 pieces of lamb shank percik were sold on the first day of Ramadan and 250 pieces were sold on the fifth day.
"I have been selling 'Ayam Percik Along' for many years now, so this time, together with my friend, we introduce lamb shank percik which is eaten with ‘Nasi Calcuttha’," he told Bernama.
Firdaus said Nasi Calcuttha is a special recipe from an acquaintance from India using good quality ghee.
He said Nasi Calcuttha and lamb shank percik set is sold at a price of RM45 while ayam percik is sold for RM8 per piece or RM13 for a set with the rice. - BERNAMA
