
- Former snooker world champion Graeme Dott has been jailed for seven years for sexually abusing two children.
- The 49-year-old subjected a primary school age girl to abuse between 1993 and 1996, and a boy between 2006 and 2010.
- Lord Harrower told Dott at the High Court in Edinburgh that his actions involved a gross violation of trust and robbed the victims of their childhood.
- Dott was convicted of two counts of lewd, indecent and libidinous behaviour following a five-day trial in August.
- Following his conviction, Dott was placed on the sex offenders register and his name was removed from World Snooker's Hall of Fame.
