
LAHAD DATU: Four men including three foreigners were detained in three separate operations during Ops Tapis on Monday.
District Acting Police Chief, Supt Jimmy Panyau said two men, an Indonesian and a Filipino were detained in raid at Bandar Sri Perdana for having 31 packets of translucent plastic containing substance believed to be syabu.
“The drug weighs about 8.09 grammes. One of the suspects tested positive for Amphetamine and Methamphetamine.

Jimmy said a Filipino was detained following an operation at Kampung Bukit Belacon, Jalan Segama after police found 0.12 gramme of syabu in his possession.
The suspect also tested positive for drugs.
In a separate arrest, a 27-year-old local man was detained following a public tip.
The suspect who had four previous narcotic criminal records tested positive for drugs.
Both cases are being investigated under Section 12(2) and Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drug Act 1952, he said.
“All the suspects are currently in their custody for further investigations,” he said.
