Fulham are speaking with Italian giants Roma to sign Dutch winger Justin Kluivert on loan.
The creative wide man is not wanted at the Italian capital club this season by manager Jose Mourinho.
According to Sky Sports News, the two clubs are hoping to iron out a deal in the coming days.
One sticking point is whether Fulham will have an option or obligation to buy within the deal.
Fulham want an obligation so long as they are still a Premier League club in a year's time, while Roma may want to see if other interest comes in for Kluivert in a year's time.
Fulham are no longer chasing Marseille striker Bamba Dieng.
