GE 15: Syed Saddiq wins Muar with slim majority

MUAR: Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (Muda) president Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman wins Muar with a slim majority.of 1345 votes.

Saddiq who formerly held the post of Youth and Sports Minister managed to beat BN candidate Helmy Abd Latif and Perikatan Nasional’s Abdullah Husin in a three-cornered contest for the Muar parliamentary seat.

In GE14, Syed Saddiq who was the PH candidate from Bersatu defeated the incumbent Muar parliamentary seat Datuk Seri Razali Ibrahim (BN) and Abdul Aziz Talib (PAS) with a majority of 6,953 votes.
