According to The Star, Tian Chua made his plans to be run as an independent candidate Nov 4.
PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim told reporters that Tian Chua have been a dedicated reformist but the party is forced to sack him after choosing to run as an independent candidate.
PKR enforces a policy that if party members were to run as independent candidates, they would automatically be dismissed.
After Tian Chua’s decision to run in Batu seat, Sao M Mahendran has withdrawn his candidacy and will be backing Tian Chua.
