KUALA LUMPUR: Perikatan Nasional’s (PN) Ampang candidate Sasha Lyna Abdul Latif is leading the poll in Ampang as of 8.30 pm tonight.
Sasha was a former Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) legal officer, and had served under former MACC chief commissioner Latheefa Koya and incumbent chief Tan Sri Azam Baki between 2019 and 2021 respectively.
She is up against the incumbent, Zuraida Kamaruddin of Parti Bangsa Malaysia, Rodziah Ismail (Pakatan Harapan), Ivone Low Yi Wen (Barisan Nasional), Nurul Ashikin Mabahwi (Pejuang) Lai Wai Chong (Warisan), and three independents; Muhammad Shafiq Izwan Mohd Yunos, Tan Hua Meng and M Raveendran.
