Girona coach Michel Sanchez says they won't turn their nose up at European qualification.
Girona are chasing down a European place after a superb run of recent results.
Michel stated today he believed Girona have secured Primera safety for another season, because, although it is not "100% done, normality says that with 44 points we continue one more year in the Primera Division".
He then commented that the second objective is reach 53 points to achieve the club's highest tally in the top-flight.
"The team wants to end the season making history. Reaching 53 points would be a historic milestone," said Michel.
He insisted that the team must go "game by game" and admitted that if they beat Real Mallorca on Thursday they will be "in a very good position in the table".
