FOLLOWING a fire incident in Barangay 190, Pasay City, Sen. Christopher “Bong” Go sent his team to assist affected residents, emphasizing the importance of both immediate aid and long-term support for disaster-stricken communities on June 3.
The senator also assured victims of his unwavering commitment to helping Filipinos in times of need.
During a video call, Go shared, “The Senate is currently facing challenges. Please keep us in your prayers. I hope every Filipino can return to normalcy soon. In times of turmoil, it is often our fellow citizens who suffer the most. Whenever there is chaos in the country, public service to Filipinos is affected.”
The relief distribution was conducted at the Barangay 190 covered court, benefiting 29 families impacted by the fire. Recipients received financial assistance, snacks, vitamins, water containers, grocery packs, shirts, fans, and balls to support their recovery. Some beneficiaries also received shoes, a mobile phone, and a wristwatch.
