
THE State Government aims to achieve a balanced regional development by reducing the development gap between urban and rural areas in Sabah.
State Finance Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said an allocation of RM210.02 million was provided under the operation and development expenditure for urban and rural development.
He said the amount would be spent on doing continuous emphasis and efforts to improve the service delivery of Local Authorities (PBT); to strengthen and sustain the housing sector development; systematic and sustainable land use planning; and to enhance the functions and roles of the State Native Court.
