SHAH ALAM – The government led by Perikatan Nasional (PN) will be fair and equal to everyone and ensure the nation’s well-being, said Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
The PN chief said the public need not worry about the “green wave” which has been alleged to be similar to the Taliban’s ruling style.
“I know there are fears that the PN or PAS government will bear similarities or be even worse than the Taliban’s rule.
“I know what is meant by the Taliban and I have heard about it.
“Rest assured, PN will be a very fair government,” he said during a Q&A at the Professional Convention 2.0 at the IDCC here, today.
Muhyiddin, who is also Bersatu president, said there was also nothing to worry about the “green wave”, so-called due to its relation to PAS’ logo.
“Have no worries about the so-called ‘green wave’. I do not even know where that phrase came from,” he said.
Six states, Terengganu, Kelantan, Kedah, Penang, Negri Sembilan, and Selangor will be holding their elections on August 12.
PN will maintain the PAS logo for Kelantan and Terengganu, while the PN logo will be used for the other four states. – The Vibes, July 15, 2023
