KOTA KINABALU: Caretaker Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor says Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) is offering voters a stable and development-centred approach to governance as the coalition seeks a renewed mandate in Saturday’s State election.

He said the GRS administration had shown its capability over the past five years and urged voters to back the coalition to ensure continuity in economic growth and public welfare initiatives.

Hajiji told supporters in Darau on Wednesday that the government had delivered under the Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) 1.0 roadmap and aimed to advance Sabah into a new phase of progress if given another term.

He said the GRS candidates for Darau and Karambunai had the experience to serve effectively and cautioned voters against returning parties he described as having failed during their previous time in government.

Hajiji also assured residents that long-standing land and squatter issues in the two constituencies were being addressed, with the Cabinet having approved the gazetting of several areas as village reserves for local settlement.
