KIULU: Sabah’s steady progress in recent years reflects the results of consistent and mature engagement with the Federal Government under the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) administration.
GRS information chief Datuk Joniston Bangkuai said, during a gathering at Kampung Sinulihan here, this approach has strengthened Sabah’s position in federal-level discussions and led to tangible development outcomes.
He said constructive dialogue and cooperation between the State and Federal Governments remain vital to ensuring policies align with the people’s well-being.
Joniston, who is also Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) information chief and Kiulu assemblyman, said constructive politics means knowing when to speak firmly and when to collaborate meaningfully to achieve results.
He added that PBS will continue educating the public on their rights under the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) while maintaining the spirit of continuity that has enabled Sabah to move forward.
