Haaland look-alike contest draws fans in Miami

A look-alike contest celebrating Norway striker Erling Haaland drew crowds in downtown Miami ahead of the World Cup quarter-final against England.

The event was organised by content creator Emma Kate Willman after she went viral on social media over her resemblance to the football star.

Around two dozen contestants took part, showing off long blonde hair, football skills and even Haaland-inspired props.

The winner, a Norwegian holidaymaker, received two tickets to the quarter-final, while fans gathered to sing, cheer and celebrate the striker's growing popularity.
