The United States of America are one of the three host nations at this summer’s World Cup alongside Mexico and Canada.
While there have been some issues with the tournament itself, such as backlash towards the mandatory hydration breaks in every game, many supporters from around the globe seem to be loving their time in the US.
Now, influencer Tom Halsall has sent a message directly to ‘all of the American people’, praising them for how they have acted during this summer’s World Cup.
American people praised for positive impact during 2026 World Cup
Speaking via TikTok, he highlighted how kind the US people have been, how welcoming they have been to people from around the world, and how their actions have made people ‘not want to leave’ the United States.
He stated: “This is a message to all of the American people out there that may or may not see this video.
“I never want you to forget this summer, the summer of 2026. I never want you, the American people, to forget the amazing positive impact that you have had on so many people around the globe.
“I never want you to forget how amazing you all are. Never want you to forget how your kindness has made people not want to leave this great country this summer.
“I want you all to remember how you have been so welcoming to so many people from all around the world this summer.
“I never want you to forget how you have looked out for people and how you have treated people this summer, and how you have been so hospitable to everybody this summer.
“Most importantly, never forget who you guys are. You are the great American people, defined by character, integrity, hope, love, kindness, and support.
“Please, America, never forget the summer of 2026.”
Fans from all over the globe have flocked to the USA this summer, and many have shared how much they are enjoying different aspects of the culture.
Two couples were given a two-day Texas experience that saw them praise the American lifestyle.
One English fan even went as far as to claim that he had ‘the best beef’ of his life while out in the US.
It has been a very positive World Cup so far for the majority of travelling supporters, and let’s hope that continues until the final on July 19.
