SHAH ALAM - The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) issued a strong wind, heavy rain and thunderstorms warning in several areas in the country until 2pm today.
Thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds were forecasted in Selangor (Klang, Petaling, Kuala Langat and Sepang), Kuala Lumpur, and Putrajaya.
In a statement, MetMalaysia said the warnings were issued when there were signs that showed possible thunderstorms with high-intensity rain exceeding 20mm/hour, which was almost or expected to happen over an hour.
