PENAMPANG: The Kadazandusun Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) hopes the 2023 Budget will focus on speeding up and enhancing provision of physical infrastructures and multimedia connectivity in the rural agricultural sector.
Its President, Datuk Ladislaus Maluda said KCCI is aware of the ongoing predicaments faced by the rural business farming community who are hardworking but having daunting tasks in accessing the market and similarly to cottage industries wanting to secure farm supplies to maintain quality and production volume for the market.
“With the Government’s affirmative action, KCCI should be in the position and ready to create the link and facilitate investment between native farmers and any interested investors,” he said when met at Wisma KCCI in Donggongon, here, Thursday.
