Alongside the HONOR 600 Series launch, HONOR has also introduced the Pad X8b tablet in Malaysia, plus several new wearable in the form of smartwatches and earbuds in various segments, plus one unusual form factor that involves a computer mouse.
HONOR Pad X8b LTE
Starting off, the HONOR Pad X8b is positioned as a family-oriented tablet, simultaneously also a budget-focused one. It features 4G LTE connectivity, with memory and storage involving 6+128GB and 8+256GB configurations, plus support for expandable storage of up to 2TB via microSD cards. The tablet is equipped with a 10,100mAh battery and an 11-inch display featuring dynamic dimming and E-ink mode for eye protection (which is especially important for kids). It’ll be available in Space Gray color, starting at RM799.
HONOR CHOICE MouseBuds Pro
Alongside the tablet, the company introduced the HONOR CHOICE MouseBuds Pro – as its name implies, it’s a combination of a wireless mouse and a pair of earbuds tucked within the mouse body (and the price reflects just as much, at RM359). Uniquely, the earbuds receives audio from the onboard USB dongle responsible for mouse connection, but it can be switched into smartphone mode that operates just like a typical Bluetooth wireless earbuds. The pair features ANC and dual-microphone noise reduction for calls, with up to 7 hours of use on a single charge.
…And Everything Else
HONOR also introduced three new conventional earbuds, including HONOR Earbuds 4, HONOR Earbuds A Pro, and the open-ear HONOR CHOICE LCHSE Earbuds Clip 2 Pro (in case you’re wondering, that five seemingly random letters is shorthand for an electronics company in China responsible of producing the earbuds on HONOR’s behalf); for smartwatches, there’s the new HONOR CHOICE INFOWEAR Watch 2 Epic, Watch 2 Pro, and finally, the HONOR Watch X5i.
