Samsung Electronics has unveiled its latest Galaxy Buds4 Series, introducing HD Voice technology designed to significantly improve call clarity in everyday use. Revealed at the recent Galaxy Unpacked event, the new earbuds focus on delivering a balance of sound quality, comfort and seamless connectivity within the Galaxy ecosystem.
A Clearer Way to Communicate
At the centre of the update is HD Voice — a feature that enhances call quality by reducing background noise while preserving the natural tone of speech.
Using multiple microphones and a Voice Pick Up Unit (VPU), the Galaxy Buds4 Series captures sound from different directions, allowing it to prioritise the user’s voice.
AI-powered processing then works in real time to filter out environmental noise such as traffic, wind and surrounding conversations. The result is a more focused and intelligible call experience, whether users are working remotely or taking calls on the go.
Expanding The Range Of Sound
Traditional Bluetooth calls are limited in bandwidth, often resulting in compressed and less detailed audio. HD Voice addresses this by doubling the bandwidth to 16kHz — also known as super wideband audio.
This expanded range allows the earbuds to capture subtle vocal details, including consonant sounds like “s”, “f” and “th”, which are often lost in standard calls. By preserving these nuances, conversations sound more natural and easier to follow.
Powered By AI And Integration
Machine learning models play a key role in refining the experience, enabling more precise noise reduction and voice enhancement. This ensures that speech remains clear even in challenging environments.
When paired with compatible Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S26 series, the earbuds are able to optimise performance further through ecosystem integration.
Designed For Everyday Use
Beyond call clarity, the Galaxy Buds4 Series continues Samsung’s focus on usability and comfort. Instant pairing allows users to connect quickly by simply opening the charging case near their device.
HD Voice can also be manually activated through device settings, giving users control over their audio experience.
