In the imaging department, you get a similar camera setup to last year’s Magic 7 Pro. First off, there’s the 50MP f/1.6 main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 200MP f/2.6 telephoto shooter that can do 3.7x optical zoom, and a 50MP selfie shooter with a 3D depth sensor right beside it for face unlock. Also thrown in is the brand’s Stability Engine, which Honor says gives the phone a CIPA 5.5-level of stabilisation, which is said to be equivalent to DSLR cameras out there.

Keeping lights on is a 7,100mAh silicon-carbon battery that can charge at 100W via Honor’s SuperCharge tech, and 80W with wireless SuperCharge.

Oh, also, the Honor Magic 8 Pro is rated at IP68/69/69K, making it resistant to dust, water, as well as high-pressure and high-temperature water jets.

Honor Malaysia is also packaging the Magic 8 Pro with a 365-day Front and Back Crack Protection, 1-Year Extended Warranty, and 1-Year Liquid Damage Protection Warranty.
