Huddersfield full-back Harry Toffolo is interesting Nottingham Forest.
The Athletic says Forest look set to miss out on Djed Spence of Middlesbrough, who spent last season helping the side gain promotion to the Premier League while on loan at the club.
Instead, they are turning their attention to other targets like Toffolo.
Toffolo was one of Huddersfield's standout players last season as they narrowly missed out on promotion to Forest, losing the play-off final.
The 26-year-old played 48 games for Town last campaign scoring six goals and assisting eight.
