MALAYSIA’S top mixed doubles pair Chen Tang Jie and Toh Ee Wei created history by winning the Indonesia Masters 2026 title today.
The world number four pair defeated Denmark’s Mathias Christiansen and Alexandra Boje 15-21, 21-17, 21-11 in a 57-minute final at Istora Senayan.
They faced a tough challenge after losing the first set 15-21 and trailed 10-12 in the second.
The third seeds then staged a brilliant comeback, scoring six consecutive points to lead 16-12 before closing the set 21-17 to force a decider.
With confidence fully restored, Tang Jie and Ee Wei dominated the third set, sealing a 21-11 victory when Boje hit a shot into the net.
This marks their fifth World Tour title.
In the women’s doubles final, Malaysia’s Pearly Tan and M. Thinaah won their first title of the season without playing.

Their opponents, Japan’s Arisa Igarashi and Miyu Takahashi, withdrew at the last minute due to injury.
Pearly and Thinaah became the first Malaysian women’s pair to win the Indonesia Masters in 15 years.
The last victory was by Vivian Hoo and Woon Khe Wei in 2011.
As champions, both Malaysian pairs won USD39,500 (RM158,217) in prize money, while the runners-up received USD19,000 (RM76,104).
