MALAYSIA clinched three titles at the Indonesia Masters today when national men’s doubles pair Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izudddin Rumsani defeated Indonesia’s Raymond Indra-Nikolaus Joaquin 21-19, 21-13.

The match, played at the Istora Senayan in Jakarta, lasted 36 minutes.

The world No. 9 ended their wait for a title after last claiming the Indian Open a year ago.

Earlier, world mixed doubles champions Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei became the first Malaysian mixed doubles duo to clinch the mixed doubles crown at the Indonesia Masters.

The world No 4 pair won 15-21, 21-17, 21-11 in 56 minutes at the Istora Senayan in Jakarta by defeating Danes Mathias Christiansen - Alexandra Boje.

Pearly Tan - M Thinaah, the country's top women's doubles pair, were crowned the Indonesian Masters champions after the Japanese pair, Arisa Igarashi-Miyu Takahashi, withdrew from the final.

The uncontested victory allowed the national pair to claim their first title of the season.

The triple-title achievement at a single World Tour event is a first in the nation’s badminton history.  – January 25, 2026
