Indonesian man found dead on rubber tree

KUANTAN - Fire and Rescue Department personnel from the Bukit Angin Fire and Rescue Station recovered the body of an Indonesian man who was found caught on a rubber tree branch at the PKPP Sungai Ring Estate, Charuk Puting, Temerloh today.

Pahang Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Public Relations officer Zulfadli Zakaria said they received information about the incident at 11.53am.

He said six firefighters were dispatched to the location to assist in bringing down the victim, who was initially thought to be unconscious.

"The victim was successfully brought down but was confirmed to have passed away," he said.

Zulfadli added that the victim's body was handed over to the police for further action.
