A five-bedroom house on a quiet street in Berkshire is up for sale, with the buyer having the chance to live out their bubblegum-pink fantasy.
The Barbie dream house in Sandhurst, which stands as an homage to the famous doll, is on the market for £725,000 – and every finishing touch is pink.
The home has a pink exterior and garage, pink walls, pink tiles and grout, and even pink taps.
One bedroom and an office have escaped the Barbie theme, but the other rooms are covered from floor to ceiling in the colour, from the carpets to the light fittings and curtains.
The current owner has decorated the home with a pink SMEG fridge and toaster, plush pink dining chairs, and a pink sofa.
Pictures of the property, which is being marketed by Yopa, show the owner has hung a Barbie and Ken poster in the kitchen and installed pink garden furniture. Even their cat’s scratching post is pink to match.
Although most of the pink decorations will not come with the house, the hallway and stairs have also been painted in the same rosy colour.
The detached chalet style house was originally built as a three-bedroom bungalow.
However, an extension has added two more bedrooms and an additional bathroom.
It now offers up to five bedrooms and three bathrooms arranged over two floors.
One of the ground floor bedrooms is currently being used as an office, but it could be used as a bedroom or additional reception space.
One of the bathrooms belongs to the master bedroom, which has an en-suite shower room.
The kitchen and breakfast room have a separate utility room and doors lead into the garden, which has a spacious lawn, metal pergola, retractable roof, patio and sun terrace.
The driveway provides parking for up to four vehicles.
There is also a detached garage – which, of course, is also painted pink.
The house is located on what the listing describes as a “exclusive and quiet road” in Berkshire, close to schools, shops and transport links.
It is near Sandhurst, Crowthorne, Blackwater and Camberley railway stations, which are all within a few miles, and Junction 4 of the M3 is a short drive away.
