The Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2026-27 was organised at DAV Centenary Public School, Mandi. The ceremony witnessed the formal induction of the newly elected Student Council members from the primary to senior secondary wings. Cdr Sajan Kumar, a distinguished officer of the Indian Navy and alumnus of DAV College Chandigarh, graced the occasion as the chief guest, while Kapil Yadav attended as the guest of honour. The event was conducted under the guidance of Principal KS Guleria. The programme commenced with the welcome of the guests and the introduction of the student leaders. At the Senior Secondary level, Ansh Sood and Anushi were appointed Head Prefects. Various club in-charges and house captains were also announced for the academic year. In the Secondary Wing, Ravinder and Pavani were elected Head Prefects, while Rairth and Prisha were chosen for the Primary Wing. Vaibhavi and Vidit were entrusted with the responsibility of Discipline Captains. A major highlight of the ceremony was the oath-taking session, during which all office-bearers pledged to perform their duties with honesty, discipline and integrity. Colourful cultural presentations added vibrancy to the event. Addressing the students, Chief Guest Cdr Sajan Kumar encouraged them to excel in life with courage, humility, patriotism and self-discipline. Congratulating the newly elected leaders, Principal KS Guleria remarked that true leadership lies in service, responsibility and exemplary conduct. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of mementoes, a vote of thanks and the National Anthem.
