A popular food court in Ipoh has appealed for the public’s help in tracking down a man who allegedly stole several faucets from its toilet recently.
In a Facebook post, the food court wrote that the man had come to its premise to use the toilet but left with stolen faucets.
“You’re more than welcome to use the toilet, but you can’t steal all of faucets either. Are you joking? Does your home need the faucets?” the caption read.

According to the CCTV’s timestamp, the man walked into the food court at around 4pm yesterday (Sept 23) and made his way to the toilet.
After a while, he emerges from the toilet and quietly leaves the scene.
Unbeknownst to him, the CCTV had captured his shorts’ pockets sagging and faucets poking out of them.
One photo also showed the aftermath of the theft, where three separate faucets were forcefully yanked out at the men’s toilet.

Reactions
Online reactions to the theft were that of disbelief and outrage, as many didn’t expect faucets to not be spared from kleptomaniacs.
One even jokingly asked whether faucets and air fresheners should be locked up across all petrol stations to prevent such incidents.

Many also urged the food court to lodge a police report so that the man could be caught soon.
