A fire broke out at a single-storey terrace house in Taman Kempadang Sejahtera, Kuantan, Pahang, on October 31, 2026 and there are some social media reports saying that a parked Proton e.MAS electric vehicle is the cause. This is NOT true as you can see clearly that the e.MAS 7 is NOT on fire and instead its the house.
House Fire Incident Details
The location of this house fire is on Lorong Kempadang Sejahtera 4, Taman Kempadang Sejahtera, Kuantan, in Pahang. The emergency call was received at 9:15 AM and firefighters arrived by 9:29 AM to put out the house fire (NOT the e.MAS 7 fire). It seems that 15 personnel from the Kuantan and Indera Mahkota Fire and Rescue Stations (BBP) were deployed.

Approximately 75% of the house was destroyed, mainly the living room and kitchen and this is still be evaluated as you read this report.
Meanwhile, the Proton e.MAS 7 electric vehicle parked at the house sustained about 60% to 70% damage and this is why preliminary reports indicate of a ‘house fire’ and not a ‘vehicle fire’! Good news is that there were no injuries or deaths reported.
The Fire and Rescue Department’s (JBPM) Forensic Unit is still investigating the cause of the fire. While initial social media discussions and local observations raised questions about the electrical set up at the house or the solar panel systems at the house, officials have not issued a final conclusion as yet and let us not have keyboard warriors saying the unwanted at this time.
