Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has hit out claims he didn't get along with former manager Claude Puel.
It was often reported the pair had little rapport during Puel's time at the King Power Stadium.
Vardy has told L'Equipe that was not the case but he has criticised the Frenchman's training methods.
"We got along well, but I felt that the pace of his training was too slow, to the point that it was complicated for us to be fast and aggressive in a match," he said.
"All the people who play sports know that if you train in a certain way, you will not be able to radically change your way of competing.
"It was like preparing a marathon and the day of the match, we were asked to run a 100m.
"It was nice to give the our best, but it did not work, and it was frustrating."
