- Fritz, 28, is a former world No 4, who reached the Wimbledon semi-finals last year and the US Open final in 2024.
- Draper is unseeded at this year’s tournament after only just returning from injury, having battled with fitness issues over the past 12 months.
- He will have Andy Murray as part of his coaching team, and the pair have made a strong start since teaming up with each other, as Draper has moved into the Eastbourne Open semi-finals this week.
- Meanwhile, top seed Jannik Sinner is due to face Serbia’s Miomir Kecmanovic as he begins his title defence after beating Carlos Alcaraz in last year’s final.
