Kylie Kelce made it clear that her daughters dating Dallas Cowboys fans would be a much bigger problem for her than for Jason Kelce.
The comment worked because it came from a family deeply tied to Philadelphia Eagles culture.
Jason may be the former Eagles star, but Kylie sounded like the one ready to protect the household rivalry standards.

Kylie Kelce draws the line at Dallas Cowboys dating problem
On an episode of the Not Gonna Lie Podcast, Kylie Kelce explained that the idea of one of her daughters dating a Cowboys fan was not something she had seriously considered before.
“I’m going to be honest, this thought has not crossed my mind. Why? I’m hoping that I’ve raised my children better than that,” Kelce said.
She added, “I’m sure there are people from Dallas, Texas, who are not Dallas fans, so I would consider that a possibility.”
That answer was playful, but the message was obvious. Kylie was not banning the entire city of Dallas from consideration.
She simply drew the line at Cowboys fandom, which is exactly the kind of answer Eagles fans would expect from someone in the Kelce family.
The joke also worked because Philadelphia’s rivalry with Dallas is not treated like a normal sports disagreement. For Eagles fans, it often becomes part of family identity.
Dallas Cowboys disdain becomes Kelce family dating standard
Kylie then admitted she would be the tougher parent if the situation ever came up, saying Jason would probably be more willing to judge the person beyond football.
“Who’s going to have a bigger problem with this, Jason or me. It’s me. Jason will be the person that’s like, ‘You know what? He seems like a good guy. They seem like great person,'” she continued.
“I don’t give a f___. I’m hopeful that we have raised our children with an appropriate degree of disdain for the Dallas Cowboys,” Kelce concluded.
That line turned the moment from a simple dating hypothetical into a perfect Eagles-Cowboys rivalry joke. Jason may have spent his entire NFL career in Philadelphia, but Kylie sounded even less willing to compromise on Dallas.
Her answer also showed why fans enjoy her bluntness. She kept it funny, but still sounded completely serious about not wanting Cowboys fandom anywhere near the family.
For Eagles fans, that is the kind of parenting standard they can support. Kylie wants good people around her daughters, but preferably not people wearing a star on Sundays.
