Valencia have a second trialist lined up as they seek a replacement for injured goalkeeper Jaume.
Iago Herrerin has been testing with Valencia for the past week.
Should coach Rino Gattuso decide against offering Herrerin a deal, then Javi Jimenez will be given a chance.
The 35 year-old keeper has just left Uzbekistan's Shurkon and is scheduled to start training with VCF from Monday.
Jimenez is expected to be granted 2-3 days to prove himself to Gattuso.
