In celebration of Malaysia’s 67th Independence Day, L’Occitane Malaysia joins forces with local artist Aisha Retno to unveil the “Big Little Things” initiative, a recycling anthem aimed at inspiring Malaysians to participate in L’Occitane’s ongoing #ReducingWaste campaign.
A Commitment To Be Better
The “BLT” movement, short for Big Little Things, epitomises L’Occitane’s commitment to environmental sustainability through everyday actions that collectively make a significant impact. Launched in 2019, this initiative encourages a recycling lifestyle, emphasising the importance of small steps in reducing single-use plastic waste.
To mark this Merdeka season, L’Occitane launches a nationwide campaign inviting Malaysians from all backgrounds to come together and collect 67,000 beauty empties over 45 days, from 12 July to 31 August 2024. This ambitious goal not only highlights the power of community action but also underscores the brand’s dedication to fostering a cleaner, greener future.

Aisha Retno, known for her passion for environmental conservation, collaborates with L’Occitane to amplify the message of sustainability through music and outreach.
