Jorginho has accused singer Chappell Roan’s security of mistreating his 11-year-old daughter during a recent encounter, claiming the situation escalated unnecessarily and left her in tears.

The incident reportedly took place during a family outing, with the former Arsenal midfielder detailing what he believes was an overreaction.

His account has since drawn attention due to the nature of the claims and those involved.

Jorginho’s accusation against Chappell Roan’s security over daughter incident

An Instagram story revealed Jorginho explaining how his daughter’s interaction with Chappell Roan unfolded.

“My daughter, like any child, recognised her, got excited, and just wanted to make sure it was really her. And the worst part is she didn’t even approach her.

“She simply walked past the singer’s table, looked to confirm it was her, smiled, and went back to sit with her mum. She didn’t say anything, didn’t ask for anything,” Jorginho revealed.

Jorginho’s account frames the situation as a harmless moment that escalated without direct interaction between his daughter and the singer.

He emphasised that no request or interruption was made, presenting the reaction as disproportionate to what actually happened.

Jorginho claims the security reaction escalated the situation

Jorginho alleged the situation worsened when security intervened, describing a response he believes went beyond what was necessary.

“A large security guard came over to their table while they were still having breakfast and began speaking in an extremely aggressive manner to both my wife and my daughter, saying that she shouldn’t allow my daughter to ‘disrespect’ or ‘harass’ other people,” he continued.

“Honestly, I don’t know at what point simply walking past a table and looking to see if someone is there can be considered harassment.

“He even said he would file a complaint against them with the hotel, while my 11-year-old daughter was sitting there in tears. My daughter was extremely shaken and cried a lot,” Jorginho concluded.

The description places the focus on how the situation was handled rather than the initial moment itself.

It also raises questions about the role of security in managing public interactions involving high-profile figures.
