
Kartar Memorial Hospital in Taggar village, Hoshiarpur, organised a free medical camp at Sleek Outlet located on the Jalandhar-Hoshiarpur road.
Sharing details of the camp, Karan Jagat (MD) informed that a total of 104 patients were examined during the camp. Out of these, 12 were advised surgeries, while 25 were examined under the orthopaedic department, 61 under general medicine, and six under gynaecology.
He further stated that all patients underwent necessary medical check-ups and diagnostic tests, and essential medicines were provided on the spot free of cost. The initiative received an encouraging response from the local community, with a large number of people availing the healthcare services.
The camp was organised under the guidance of Onkar Singh Taggar (chairman) and witnessed active coordination by Arvinder Pal Singh and Arvind Kumar (Manager, HR & Operations).
The medical team included Dr Amrit Suman (medical superintendent), Dr Manhum and Dr Karan, who provided expert consultation and treatment to the patients.
Organisers stated that such camps are part of the hospital’s continued efforts to extend quality healthcare services to rural and semi-urban areas and to create awareness about preventive healthcare.
