The Princess of Wales surprised Wimbledon fans who queued for hours in the hopes of securing a ticket as she attended the fourth day of the tournament on Thursday (2 July).
Kate has been a patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC), where Wimbledon is held, since 2016.
She helped stewards to take payments and hand out tickets.
The princess made her first appearance at this year’s Wimbledon Championships on Thursday. She watched Katie Swan of Great Britain during her Ladies’ Singles match against Madison Keys of the United States.
Kate was joined by former tennis stars Anne Keothavong and Sir Andy Murray.
