VIGAN, Ilocos Sur — Kianna Dy delivered a team-high 17 points as the PLDT High Speed Hitters outlasted the Choco Mucho Flying Titans, 25-21, 20-25, 29-27, 25-18, to secure their first victory in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) On Tour on Saturday night at the Chavit Coliseum.
PLDT bounced back from a second-set setback and edged Choco Mucho in a tightly contested third frame before pulling away in the fourth to improve to a 1-0 record.
Still missing Alas Pilipinas standout Sisi Rondina, the Flying Titans leaned on Caitlyn Viray, who finished with 16 points, but fell short for their second straight loss and dropped to 0-2.
Aside from Dy’s stellar outing, Savi Davison chipped in 13 points, while Mika Reyes added 12. Majoy Baron also reached double figures with 10 markers.
“It was really an intense game. Choco Mucho is a very hard opponent, and it’s good that the bench performed. Obviously, we still need to work on a lot of things for our next games, so we need to adjust,” Dy said.
PLDT looks to build on its winning start, while Choco Mucho hopes to bounce back after opening the tournament with back-to-back defeats.
