Malaysia’s King extends Police Day greetings and honours the dedication of all PDRM personnel and veterans for their service to the nation.

KUALA LUMPUR: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, today extended his greetings to all personnel and veterans of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) in conjunction with the force’s 219th Police Day.

The King, who is also the Honorary Commissioner-in-Chief of PDRM, expressed his deep appreciation for their unwavering dedication. He honoured police personnel for remaining ever ready to safeguard the security and well-being of the people and the nation, regardless of time or circumstance.

Sultan Ibrahim said the commitment shown by PDRM personnel is highly valued. He noted that this commitment, demonstrated during festive seasons and emergencies, forms one of the main pillars of national security.

“May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala always protect all members of the police force in every duty they undertake,” His Majesty said in a post on his official Facebook page.

He also paid tribute to fallen officers, stating, “Al-Fatihah to those who have left us forever. May they be placed among the faithful and the martyrs.”
