KK Blossoms School, Solan, marked a significant milestone in experiential learning and global education by successfully organising a comprehensive Skill Development and Model United Nations (MUN) Training Session, along with the official launch of the SDG 4 Summit in collaboration with ImpleMentors, under the aegis of UNESCO. The initiative aims to empower young learners with the knowledge, skills and values required to become responsible global citizens while promoting Sustainable Development Goal 4 – Quality Education. The summit seeks to provide students with a platform to engage in meaningful dialogue on global challenges, strengthen critical thinking, and foster leadership through collaborative learning. The training session was led by renowned skill trainer Rahul Menon, who introduced students to the fundamentals of the United Nations system, Model UN procedures, diplomacy, public speaking, negotiation and interview skills. Through his engaging teaching methodology and extensive expertise, he encouraged students to analyse national and international issues from a global perspective and confidently articulate well-reasoned solutions. Speaking on the occasion, the school emphasised that the launch of the SDG 4 Summit reflects its commitment to providing quality education beyond traditional classrooms by integrating communication, leadership, research, and policy-oriented learning into the academic experience.
