
Mount Carmel School, Chandigarh, organised a Capacity Building workshop for teachers on the theme, “STEM Education: Inspiring the Next Generation of Innovators," reaffirming its commitment to fostering innovation and promoting the professional development of educators. The session was conducted by Abha Arora, who shared valuable insights into nurturing curiosity, creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students through STEM-based education. She emphasised the importance of experiential learning and interdisciplinary teaching approaches in equipping learners to meet future academic and real-world challenges. Organised in collaboration with Volt Education, the workshop provided teachers with practical strategies for effectively integrating Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) into classroom instruction in an engaging and meaningful manner. Principal Dr Parveena John Singh highlighted the significance of such initiatives and encouraged teachers to continue embracing modern and innovative pedagogical practices to nurture future-ready learners. The workshop concluded on a positive and inspiring note, reinforcing the importance of continuous professional learning and innovative teaching practices in shaping confident, progressive and empowered students.
