KOTA MARUDU: The Sabah Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) has been urged to provide an explanation to the local community following repeated delays in completing the district’s Sports Complex project under the GRS government.
Kota Marudu District Football Association (Safa) Acting President Jimson Majemal expressed disappointment over the matter, saying the project was supposed to have been completed after the contractor was granted an extension until May 31.
“As a sports advocate in this district, I have taken the time to monitor the progress of the project. The people here, especially sports enthusiasts, have long awaited good news as a symbolic gift for the Kaamatan celebration, but many are disappointed that the project is still not completed,” he said in a statement on Wednesday.
