KSI has confirmed he is now a shareholder in Dagenham & Redbridge.

The YouTuber, musician and professional boxer has invested in the National League South side.

Dagenham & Redbridge compete in the sixth tier of English football, two promotions away from the Football League.

The 32-year-old says he is fully committed to helping the club grow and has already outlined ambitious long-term plans.

Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji, better known as KSI, shared his excitement after the announcement.

“I’m so excited to start this journey. It’s gonna be a rollercoaster for sure but I hope to bring Dagenham and Redbridge back to the glory days,” he said to the Dag & Red website.

“And once we reach that point, I want to go even further. Reaching the Premier League would be a dream. And I believe it is 100% doable. It will take a long time, so to the Daggers fans, please be patient.”

KSI added that he wants the club to become known worldwide and to be an exciting team to support. He revealed he has been watching matches privately for months.

“I’ve been watching games secretly at home for months on YouTube streams, so it feels so good to finally show my support publicly.”

He described the move as a full-circle moment, referencing his earlier online football content, and said he cannot wait to attend his first game against Dorking Wanderers.

KSI joins Andy Carroll at Dagenham & Redbridge

Dagenham & Redbridge currently play in National League South, the sixth tier of English football. Promotion would move them closer to a return to the Football League.

KSI becomes the latest high-profile figure to invest in the club, following former England striker Andy Carroll’s recent involvement as a shareholder.

An avid Arsenal supporter with more than 17 million subscribers on YouTube, KSI brings significant global reach.

Whether that translates into long-term football success remains to be seen, but the ambition has been made clear.
