Kota Kinabalu: Executive Director of KTC, Datuk Dexter Lau, has officially announced his candidacy for the President of the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) Sabah in the upcoming election set for May.

With extensive experience in business and leadership, Dexter aims to lead MCCC Sabah towards a more dynamic and competitive future.

Alongside his candidacy announcement, he also revealed that he has identified a team of like-minded individuals who will join him in striving for a progressive direction for MCCC Sabah.

“With the strong support of MCCC Sabah members, we can work more effectively to drive the growth of the business sector in the state,” he said.

The MCCC Sabah presidential election is expected to be a pivotal event in shaping the chamber’s future direction for the coming years.

Dexter has been instrumental in strengthening economic and trade relations between Malaysia and China through his active involvement in MCCC.

He currently serves as the Vice Chairman of MCCC Sabah and is also a member of the MCCC Malaysia National Council Committee.

In these roles, he has been actively working to boost bilateral economic growth and expand trade opportunities for local entrepreneurs.

As an experienced businessman, Dexter’s expertise in market needs, business strategies, and investor relations gives him a strategic edge in attracting foreign investments.
