
Vice-Chancellor Prof Som Nath Sachdeva released the Handbook of Information (HBI) for postgraduate, certificate, diploma and various professional courses, and officially activated the university’s online admission portal on Monday.
With this, the online application process for students for the academic session 2026–27 began on May 25.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Som Nath Sachdeva said the university is continuously striving to provide quality, research-oriented and employment-driven education to students. He said that, in line with the National Education Policy (NEP)-2020, several curriculum reforms have been introduced with emphasis on modern learning, skill development and global competitiveness to ensure better academic exposure and career opportunities.
He further said that through the online admission portal, students will be able to apply for courses, upload documents and pay fees conveniently from their homes.
The HBI issued by the university contains detailed information on course-wise eligibility criteria, seat matrix, fee structure, admission rules and important dates.
Applications have also been invited for various language, skill and value-based programmes. Under the Advanced Diploma (Evening Session), admissions will be offered in French and German. Diploma courses (Evening Session) include French, German, Urdu, Reasoning and Sanskrit Language (Online), while Diploma (Morning Session) will
be offered in Yoga
and Applied Philosophy.
