MANILA, Philippines — The De La Salle Lady Spikers fended off a gutsy third-set performance by the UE Lady Warriors, 25-15, 25-20, 25-19, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum Saturday to go 5-0 in the UAAP Season 88 women's volleyball tournament.
Eshana Nunag tossed 21 excellent sets and logged four points for the league-leading La Salle which kept the cellar-dwelling UE winless at 0-6.
Angel Canino also came through with 12 points, eight digs, and six receptions as Lilay Del Castillo added 10 points.
Khy Cepada carried the fight for the Lady Warriors with 14 points, eight receptions, and four digs.
