MANILA, Philippines — The Adamson Lady Falcons overpowered the UST Golden Tigresses in the third set for a 27-25, 25-22, 25-12 sweep in the UAAP Season 88 women's volleyball tournament at the Smart Araneta Coliseum Saturday.
Adamson took the fight out of UST with a 20-6 run after back-to-back aces by Fhei Sagaysay in the third frame.
Bouncing back from their loss to the FEU Tamaraws last Sunday, the Lady Falcons improved to 3-2 for fifth place.
Previously sitting in fifth, the Tigresses dropped to sixth with a 2-3 slate.
