Angel Canino logged 15 excellent receptions and 21 points including the clincher as La Salle came back from a 13-18 disadvantage to frustrate Adamson, which the Taft-based school defeated in five sets in the first round.
Amie Provido proved to be a problem at the middle the Lady Falcons couldn't solve, hammering 18 points on 12 attacks, five blocks, and one ace for the league-leading Lady Falcons.
Shaina Nitura racked up 23 points, 24 excellent receptions, and eight digs to pace Adamson which dropped to 4-4, good for fifth place.
