
LABUAN: The Labuan Chinese Chamber of Commerce has handed a letter to Putrajaya seeking help to resolve the regular electricity supply disruptions plaguing thousands here and affecting the economy.
Its Chairman Datuk Wong Kii Yii said the Government should treat the matter seriously and effectively.
In the letter addressed to the Political Secretary to the Prime Minister, Tuan Azman Abidin, and copied to Deputy Finance Minister Steven Sim, he said:
“There are 72 Federal Cabinet members and one or two should visit the island to better understand the Labuan situation.”
