Kota Kinabalu: The Labuan Corporation has approved a 50-percent rent discount totalling over RM364,000 for some of its premises.
A board meeting led by the corporation’s chairman, Tan Sri Anifah Aman, approved the discount for commercial premises on Levels 1 and 2 of the Labuan Central Market and the surrounding areas including the pig market, bus station and taxi station, according to a statement.
The Labuan Corporation has allocated a total of RM364,560 to accommodate the discount, which will be effective for a period of one year from Jan 1, 2023, benefitting 178 commercial lots.
